Liar, Liar!

Sometimes telling a lie is a good thing to in order protect someone? Well i do believe that honesty is the best policy, and eventually the truth does always come out.

I do however believe in protecting the ones that love from harm. So here i am rattling my brains, thinking is telling a big fat lie a good thing? Well from personal experiences i gained the answers yes and no! For example if i saw my bestfriends girlfriend with another a fella, would i tell him? i came up with the answer HELL YES! But been the person i am, (i dont want to sound to cheesy either) lol i wouldn't want to hurt my mates feelings. So lying in general under circumstances can be one very difficult thing to do.

Nevertheless i know for the benefit of my friend he should know. I believe though that everybody does lie at some point in their life. i have found though that the reaons for this vary, for example some people will do it to gain attention, others will do it to protect themselves and others from harm, and some will just do it because their bored! My overall view though to 'is telling a lie a good thing?' Okay so looking through a wider view, my answer is i can see the point at times in telling lyings, the most personal view is to protect someone. But how long can you keep telling a lie, untill evnetually the truth will come out and be more hurtfull then ever. So been honest from the start will help you have more time to solve the problem, however sometimes you have to lie in order to protect. :)
